Like many successful drivers, Josh
Wallace’s family introduced him to racing, working in his father’s race shop
from the time he could walk. Striking a deal with his parents if he maintained
a “B” average in school and continued working in the family race shop, they
would provide his seat for his inaugural season.
Born
and raised in Pell Lake , Wis.
, Wallace began his racing career at the age of 16, winning his first feature
event in only his fifth race. Competing in the Millennium Late Model class,
Wallace competed in a total of 15 races during his inaugural season in 2004.
His on track success consisted of 2 Feature wins and a total of 5 race wins.

Josh Wallace’s ambition to follow his father and grandfather’s racing desires has
clearly shown itself. Moving forward to the 2005 season, Wallace competed at
tracks in Lake Geneva and
Madison , Wisconsin
. The 2005 season saw Josh win 6 consecutive Features, 10 total
Feature wins on the season and a Track Championship. In conjunction with a busy
racing schedule Wallace completed his senior year at Badger High School,
Lake Geneva , WI
with a strong emphasis on his class work, graduating in June of
2006.
In 2006, Wallace
competed in the Super Late Model division at the Lake Geneva Raceway.
Completing the season with two Feature victories. Wallace had also competed at
the Slinger Super Speedway and Madison International Speedway in a Millennium
Late Model.
2007 proved to be
the most challenging in Josh's young career. Competing on the ASA Late
Model North touring series Josh competed at 9 different tracks in 10 events
throughout the mid west. Competing against 102 different drivers Josh
posted a 12 place finish overall and a 6th place finish in the rookie standings.
Josh Wallace is a
third generation driver that will be competing in only his fourth complete
season. With the guidance of his parents, Josh finds great value in his
participation of all aspects of his racing career. |
